The Brown County Fair is proud to announce the latest addition to the schedule of events for 2010. Coed Sand Volleyball has been added to the agenda for Saturday, August 7th, starting at 9:00 a.m. Coed teams will put together their best six players in hopes of taking home the title and a little extra cash!
Sand Volleyball has become an ever popular summer pastime and we think that this event will add some fun to the Brown County Fair. Entry Fees are $50 for each team. This will include a minimum of three games. Rally scoring will be used which guarantees a swift pace to the game. A round robin format will group all teams into separate divisions before the winners can emerge. Put your own team together or just come be a spectator, all are welcome to the event. Competition will be stiff as area players are able to play volleyball year around now thanks to the local YMCA.
This year’s event will be limited to 12 teams playing on two courts. We anticipate participants from all of the surrounding towns and look forward to a great day of volleyball! Come join us for a day of fun in the sun at the Brown County Fair!
